Delight was kindly offered to us this spring by Richie and Marilou Webb. We are so excited to have this doe. She has a powerhouse of a pedigree and the general appearance and udder to back it up.
Delight is a very correct doe with an uphill stature and strong feet and legs. She is a first freshening two year old, so we can't wait to freshen her again this coming year to see how she matures. She has a lovely udder that is high and wide with a nice medial and great capacity.
Summer 2016-
Delight continues to milk and show well. She only has one more leg for her permanent championship.
She has finally settled in to our little heard and is such a strong doe with such a nice mammary system. We are so in love with her daughter Desire, and can't wait to get another. We hope to AI Delight to Toi Soldier this fall, but we will have to see how she tolerates the idea.
Summer 2017 -
Delight had a very rough start this summer with a bad case of pregnancy toxemia and then developed a case of mastitis after freshening. We treated her and dried her off and have let her have the summer off. She looks to be in very good shape this fall, and is bred to Gundsynd for mid February kids.
