We were really excited when Marilou kindly offered Desire to us this past spring. We really love all of Bode's daughters and are really excited to have three of them in our herd.
Desire has such a nice top line and great body capacity. We are really excited to watch her grow and see what she turns into.
Spring 2016-
Desire kidded with a set of lovely doe twins. Her udder is very nice with an exceptional foreudder. Though we feel Desire has some maturing to do, we are still very excited to see her grow.
Summer 2017 -
Desire freshened with and uneven udder this spring, but after working on it for a while we got her pretty close to even. She kidded with a lovely set of buck doe twins and the doe kid is retained.
Summer 2018 -
Desire freshened with a single buck kid this year. We were really hoping for another Avalanche daughter, but we will have to be patient I guess. Desire is still her beautiful self and doing great.
After seeing her yearling doe kid in milk, we have decided to breed Desire back to Valor for another year, so we look forward to her kidding in March with Valor kids.
